1. Scope of Services

Canyon Shipping & Logistic Pakistan acts as a freight forwarder, logistics provider, customs clearance agent, and NVOCC/multimodal transport coordinator.

  • All actual carriage of goods by ocean, air, rail, or road may be performed by third-party carriers, vessel operators, or transport partners.

  • All shipments handled are subject to the standard terms of the relevant Bill of Lading (B/L), Air Waybill (AWB), or carrier contract issued for that specific consignment.

2. User Responsibilities & Cargo Declarations

When requesting a booking, quote, or customs clearance, you (the “Customer” or “Shipper”) agree to:

  • Provide complete, true, and accurate information regarding cargo descriptions, values, weights, dangerous goods classifications, and recipient details.

  • Ensure all items comply with import, export, and transit regulations of Pakistan and relevant foreign jurisdictions.

  • Properly package, label, and prepare cargo for transport.

  • Refrain from tendering contraband, undeclared hazardous materials, counterfeit goods, or items prohibited under international or Pakistani law.

The customer indemnifies and holds harmless Canyon Shipping & Logistic Pakistan against any penalties, storage fees, delays, or legal action resulting from inaccurate, misleading, or non-compliant cargo declarations.

3. Rates, Quotes, and Payment Terms
  • Quotations: Quotations provided via the website, email, or phone are estimates based on rates, bunker surcharges, currency exchange rates, and port tariffs current at the time of quotation. They are subject to change without prior notice until a booking is confirmed.

  • Additional Charges: Rates exclude customs duties, inspection fees, demurrage, detention, storage, and unforeseen port handling charges unless explicitly stated in writing.

  • Payment: Payments must be made according to agreed commercial credit terms or prior to the release of shipping documents/cargo.

4. Limitation of Liability

  • Third-Party Carrier Acts: We are not liable for acts, omissions, defaults, or delays of ocean carriers, airlines, terminal operators, customs officials, or port authorities.

  • Statutory Liability Limits: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for cargo loss, damage, or delay is strictly governed and limited by applicable international conventions (e.g., Hague-Visby Rules, Montreal Convention) or standard freight forwarding trading conditions.

  • Consequential Loss: In no event shall Canyon Shipping & Logistic Pakistan be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profit, business interruption, or market loss.

  • Cargo Insurance: Shippers are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive marine/transit cargo insurance covering the full value of their shipments.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, text, graphics, and layout on https://canyonshippingpak.com/ are the property of Canyon Shipping & Logistic Pakistan or its content suppliers and are protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute arising out of or related to our services or website shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Karachi, Pakistan.
